Financing and fees
The Dave Holt Band is a not-for-profit band but we do charge a small fee for appearances. This isn't to put into our own savings accounts or to pay for expensive holidays, don't worry. We split all our appearance fees equally between the Alzheimer's Society and the Help for Heroes charities. Both of these charities are close to our hearts - The Alzheimer's Society for the help they gave to Wilf's wife, Violet, before she passed away, and Help for Heroes for the fine work they're doing for our young men and women in the armed forces. We usually only charge a small fee for our appearances but if you would like to donate any more to our chosen charities, it would mean a lot to The Dave Holt Band as a whole. We know these charities work very hard on the small amounts of money they have and we know that any donation at all is extremely worthwhile and greatly received.
