Events: commercial properties and residential venues
In our 11 years as a band, The Dave Holt Band has been lucky enough to play in quite a few venues up and down the UK. Nowadays we don't travel so much - Bernie has just had one of those new plastic hips put in so his doctor advises resting for a bit - that's why we're taking a little bit of a break until Bernie gets back on form. Back in our heyday we played lots of unusual venues; everywhere from offices in Bristol to old-man pubs and everywhere in between. We've also been lucky enough to play at a number of our fans' houses - this was great fun and is one of our favourite things to do as a band. Like I said before, we've just finished a number of local village fetes which was lovely and much more suited to us as a band now we're getting on a bit. We're not really that fussy where we play if I'm honest - we just love seeing our fans and performing! We do enjoy playing smaller venues, rather than larger venues but we're happy wherever as long as we're with our fans and we're together playing our music! We're always ready for our performance and we're happy to play anywhere, if you give us enough notice.
