Hello! If you're visiting our site then there's a good chance you've seen The Dave Holt Band. If you have seen us, we'd just like to take this opportunity to say thank you and welcome!
The Dave Holt Band is a polka band who enjoy playing tributes to our idols, including Queen, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. We play a wide variety of instruments, including the accordian, french horn and guitar which we think helps to add an almost jazz-like quality to our music.
We're based in Bristol but are happy to travel up and down the country to put on shows and visit our fans. We don't charge large fees because we just love paying music and being on stage.
Now we're not the youngest band on the block; altogether we have a combined age of 382 years but we don't let that hold us back! We're still young at heart and enjoy playing our instruments to crowds.
I formed The Dave Holt Band back in 1999 and I'm thrilled at how far we've come. We've just recently finished performing at a range of village fetes and shows, which was great fun, and we'd like to thank everyone who came to see us play.
We built this site as a tribute to the band and I hope you enjoy it! To celebrate our 11th birthday we're asking all our fans to leave messages and reviews on our message board - I hope to see your comment soon!
